Heartbroken,
Mere syllables to say,
A hard word,
Immeasurable pain and hardship,
Transparency,
Innocent love brings,
All and none of these,
Happiness when I looked into your eyes,
And oh.You cared.

Now what has happened dearest?
What took you away from me?
Leaving me stranded on an island,
Surrounded by despair undefined,
Bright suns will never be seen again,
Only one star which gives light,
Lights up the total darkness,
So far yet so near,
Untouchable forever,
Though with a broken heart,
It’s deemed that better to have loved someone,
Though you’ll never have her.

I love you,
With all my heart,
Etched down,
Your name,
Fresh in my memories,
You’ll always be in my heart’s core.
